The Under 9 B team won a hard fought 1-0 away at Whaley Bridge on Saturday the 29th of September. Manager Padraig Walsh moved the team around a bit, but it paid off. Man of the match and goal scorer was Dominic Breed, skipper was Joe Taylor, who marshalled the defence very well.
Joe certanly did command the defence and in my mind would make a worthy permanent captain!(totally focused) Dominics finish was added to a great allround performance which earned him m.o.t.m. Well done U9 b team !! Other news... Ex U9 A team manager Dave Riley had a lucky escape from a killer wasp and a welcome return to the sidelines to R Hogg!! 's p a c e Will' ... LOL!!
